Ford Edge Service Interval Guide 

Every 7,500 Miles

What is the Ford Edge oil change interval? This service is generally recommended every 7,500 miles or every 6 months (whichever comes first). Replace the oil filter when indicated on the dashboard or every 12 months. A wheel alignment and tire rotation will also be performed. 

Every 10,000 Miles

  • Check wheel end play and turning noise
  • Inspect the cooling system and hoses
  • Inspect the exhaust system and heat shields
  • Inspect and lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage, ball joints, suspension joints, half and drive shafts, and u-joints
  • Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and the parking brake system

Every 20,000 Miles

Repeat each of the services listed above and replace the cabin air filter.

Every 30,000 Miles

Repeat each of the services for the 10,000-mile checkup, as well as replace the engine air filter. 

At 100,000 Miles

  • Repeat 10,000-mile maintenance
  • Replace spark plugs
  • Replace the cabin air filter
  • Inspect accessory drive belt(s)
  • Change the Ford Orange Specialty Revitalizer Engine Coolant

At 150,000 Miles

  • Repeat 10,000-mile maintenance
  • Change transfer case fluid 
  • Replace the timing belt
  • Change front axle lubricant
  • Change rear axle lubricant-synthetic only
  • Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid and filter
  • Replace accessory drive belts (if not replaced within the last 100,000 miles)
